You are invited to come and read one or two poems of your own or others that relate to the topic of hunger and poverty. A free will donation of cash and/or personal care items is appreciated. Food items are not needed at this time. The BRICK is located at 420 Ellis Avenue in Ashland, across the avenue from the Super One grocery store. Please contact for more information.

I teach CE classes for Wisconsin Indianhead Technical Institute (WITC). I recently taught “Creating a Chapbook” in Ashland and Superior. One of my most popular classes is “Jumpstart Your Poetry” where we get our batteries recharged by doing a lot of writing. If you are interested in either of these classes or have another one to suggest, please use the contact form on the “Contact” page. I love to spend time with people who love poetry and am willing to travel (within reason) if a group wants to sponsor a workshop.
